Autocross cars are operated at the extreme limits of the cars ability. It's going to take an entire package to get what you want, not just springs and shocks. I would go with quality, name brand parts and also replace all the original busings. Subframe connectors and other chassis stiffening devices would also be excellant ideas.
I've never heard of Dropzone springs.

Re: Dropzone??????
This is the 3rd time you've posted this question.... once on "Suspension....", and twice here on "General....". Since not one of the 40,000+ members has responded with a "yes", its probably a safe assumption that no one here is using them. They are very popular with the "import" crowd. A quick search foir Chevy applications indicates they only make them for the 3rd Gen and the Cavalier.

Hmmm...maybe I can bring this thread to a pleasant and productive end.
Call (don't email) Sam. He'll happily answer all your questions and point you in the right direction.
Strano Performance Parts
He knows...ummm...a few things about making a car handle. He also...uhhh... autocrosses a bit I believe.

yes many people have use them on thirdgens
people on www.thirdgen.org say pretty good thingd about them
if i remember they drop about 2 inches from stock height front and rear and for the price they are a very decent way to go.

Re: Dropzone springs - anyone???
ive got the dropzone lowering springs on my 91 RS Vert. they dont belong on a vert but i never listen to directions. really lowered my car a ton, over 2 full " front and back. and with my 20's 1'2 my tire tucks in the front. awsome looking but not for performance. some sportlines or a pro kit would be your best bet of both worlds, i have sportlines on my 97 SS, sits low and handles great.
