e-brake ?

on my brothers 02 SS sometimes his e-brake light come on while driving, and only seems to do it went its wet outside or if he just washed it. and is it bad to countine to drive with the light on.

That light also comes on when your brake fluid is low. You might want to check the fluid level, and check for any leaks.

Are you sure its the "BRAKE" light that's coming on? If so, that light serves two functions... one is to indicate the e-brake is on, the other is to indicate there is unequal pressure in the front and rear brake circuits...... possibly from a leak, air in the system, etc.

A more typical problem with rain and moisture is for the "ABS INOP" light to come on becuase the ABS system is not seeing the wheel sensor signal from one of the sensors.

i check the fluid and its fine, so what else could it be, also he has a predator tune it that makes a diifferance
