Edelbrock non adjustable torque arms, good or bad?
thinking about getting one of those Edelbrock torque arms they look tubular on the outsie and then the angled metal on the inside looks like flat iron with an "E" in it. the color is black. ANYONE KNOW IF THESE ARE DECENT OR NOT?? i'm looking at this from a "drag racing once in a while during the summer" application while keeping it quite streetable, need to replace the stocker, but don't wanna spend 300 on some real elaborate adjustable one or anything. Mine already has a small crack near the rear bolt mount on the bottom. (a 383 with a ton of torque, T56 and 4.11's) will tend to do that
thanks

I have heard of them being not much better then stock and breaking. Plus, if you are going to go through the effort and expense of installing a new torque arm, do yourself a favor and install one that at least gives you the option of adjustability of the pinion angle. I would look into some of the other offerings from Spohn, BMR, or Umiperformance, you'll get a stronger, better quality piece.
