Feels squirrely
Hey , if someone could help me , I would greatly appreciate it.
I have a 2000 Z28 that I am having some odd problems with. 2 yrs ago my rack and penion(sp??) snapped in 2 so I had to have it replaced. Right afterwards I realized they did a crappy alignment on it. The rear wheels were off by about an inch and a half...lol, felt like the rear was gonna pass me at any second. Got that fixed and they realigned it. Now she still feels like that sometimes and she just doesnt feel like she hugs the road like she used to. I can make a left turn, dry pavement , and she fishtails, no real pressure on the gas pedal. Rain scares the hell outta me now cause she is all over the road. And, turning the wheel to the left is about a quarter turn less than turning to the right.
If anyone can give me any pointers of where to start with this I would be indebted to you for life...lol
Thanks ,
Legs

Not meaning to be a smartass...but how's the thread depth on your tires. When my gets to the wear mark...or less , it feels really squirrely as well. The 3.73s in the rear don't help. It's kinda fun to slide around here and there, but sometime a little unnerving balancing when the car's going to break loose. I would never drive in the rain when my tires are that worn.
Just a quick check for traction.

Loosen your LCA's and tighten them properly while the rear axle is loaded. They should be tightened when they are as close as possible to how they sit while the car is driving. Same thing with the panhard rod. Try that and report back
