Angry Friggin Hot!

I just installed new rear rotors and semi metallic pads on a 95 z28 I broke them in by stopping carefully not too hard a bunch of times. I noticed the rotors got really hot alot hotter than the front and the front does most of the braking right? Is this normal? I noticed it brakes better and less pedal effort. Also once it braked to the left then went back where it should. It hasnt went left again though. !!!!WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!!!!

Re: Friggin Hot!

are they both hot? maybe you jarred a caliper into seizing/sticking. piston can quite easily get stuck if its traveling in a different area due to the new, thicker pads. they'll get hot quick and make it seem like you're braking is super-fantastic. a thought. would be good to double check.

Re: Friggin Hot!

bleed the fronts.. you may have a problem with air in the line or something to that effect. You may also want to gravity bleed the fronts from the master, may have an issue with air in the dist. block.

Hope this helps!
