Front end popping noise help

My 94 z28 developed a popping noise from the front drivers side on the drive home today. The car has new poly sway bar bushings, and everything else was tight. The noise goes away when the brakes are applied, but increases with vehicle speed. Should I be looking at tie rod ends or what? Car has 100k on it.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Front end popping noise help

Inspect the entire steering setup - upper/lower ball joints, inner/outer tie rod ends, steering coupler, rag joint.

Re: Front end popping noise help

I chased a noise like yours for a long time, it ended up being one of the nuts on the top of the strut had worked it's way loose, I compressed the spring and tightened the nut and the noise was gone.
