front shocks

What shocks is everyone running (aftermarket of coarse). I heard strange makes one for 4th gens know. The struts after 95,000. Are completely shot and I want to put something on that plants the car. I also want one that I can adjust the spring so when it settles the front isn't laying on the ground. Its low enough thanks to the 275/60/15 on the back.

Re: front shocks

I would run Hal QA1 shocks. Real high quality. Fronts are height and valve adjustable. Most people usually run Bilstein, Koni and KYB.

Re: front shocks

The QA1/HAL's aren't anything special, but mine have been on all four corners for 5 years and are still working fine. A buddy of mine ran his just as long, including several severe drops from 3-foot wheel stands, and they lasted fine.

Re: front shocks

Bilstein HD's are a popular and cost effective replacement shock for F-Bodies.
