Front Sway Bar End link size?
Hello,
I am looking for some advice regarding the proper length for front sway bar end links on a 02 Camaro SS. I broke both bolts on the stock front sway bar end links, so I purchased a set of Energy Suspension, polyurethane end links. Right after ordering the ones listed for an 02 Camaro, I noticed their website states to "measure the length of OEM spacer sleeve to order the correct length". I measured the stock spacer sleeve and it is approx. 2 5/16". Here is the problem, the universal on I received for the 02 Camaro has a 2 7/8" sleeve. So this one is 9/16" longer than the original one. Should I just use this new universal one or order a 2 3/8" one from energy suspension. My car has dual uses: drag strip and SCCA Solo events. I want the car to handle better and I am afraid that with the longer end links that it may reduce the effectiveness of the sway bar.
So anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you.

Obviously, you could use the original spacers but I think I would ask other autocrossers (especially Camaro owners) if they've tried longer-than-stock link spacers and what the effect was. You can always cut the ES spacers back to stock length.
I assume the amount of leverage of the anti-roll bar has can be fine tuned with link length.
Please let us know what you find out.
