Full or empty tank to adjust pinion angle?

Well maybe a stupid question but i nee to know.

When adjusting the pinion angle with a adj TA do i need to have a full tank of gas so the car would have its full weight or do i need to have an empty one?

Some says a full one other a empty one?

I just realise that the small noise that i got is changing depending on the level of fuel in my gas tank.

Thank you

Common sense says half tank if it matters at all

What about having someone in the driver's seat?

Adjust it for how you would have it at the dragstrip (empty car, 1/4 tank, driver in car). If you're not racing then just adjust at whatever the car will be at most of the time. Although I'd have to agree that it's probably not a big deal.

At race weight with you sitting in the seat.

Why is common sense so uncommon?

I would try to hit the 'average' operating condition so that, no matter how far you were off from that, it would only be half way from ideal-
