Got Any LT1 SS Strut Brace pictures???

Did a search and found nothing..
I'm looking at a strut brace for my SS but the ram air gets in the way. I did find these but they are pricey...

Hotchkis 200$!

ebay's alternative but they don't have the correct item pictured.

Anyone have any pics of their LT1 Ram Air with a strut brace setup?? and where did you get it from
thanks!

I originally had the plain BMR strut tower brace, and loved it. Later I got an SS look alike hood (non functional). I figured since it was a non functional hood that the strut tower brace would clear, but I was wrong . My hood would not shut by about 2 inches, and lay on top of the strut tower brace. l ended up having to get a Hotchkiss one. The hotchkiss SS strut tower brace sits much lower and it bends to the back.

Below are some pictures of it out of the car. Let me know if the link won't upload, and I can email you the pic.

Nice pix thanks guys. I think a red hotchkis brace would look pretty sick-nasty on the SS but they retail for over $200 on the website! My budget might force me go with the ebay strut brace (pic 1).

Are these gains noticable and worth doing? cornering? braking?
thanks again in advance

Some would argue it makes no difference.

IMO, it helps strengthen the frame of the car while cornering, which in turn helps it take corners better. The gains I notice aren't large gains, but are noticable to me.

For the 4th Gen F-Body my opinion is that it's "eye candy". It's based on reading Sam Strano's suspension message board. The shock towers on the 4th Gen have a better design the the previous 3rd Gen design.

The design the the shock towers tend to keep the cornering loads away from the top of the tower and that's what those strut brace are for. They are pretty much eye candy. I'd spend money elsewhere before looking for strut braces.
