headers never fit right!!

I have hooker longtubes, off road y pipe and hooker cat back and i swear.. anywhere these things could touch something they do. As if the obvious y-pipe banging on the floor board wasnt annoying enough now it seems that the headers are hitting something when i am braking. Where the bend in the headers is that directs the headers from coming towards the ground to the rear of the car it appears they are VERY close to i think what is my front subframe... I dont know what its called its just part of that whole front wheel suspension. Its really annoying do you think my subframe connectors being installed will help this at all?

Re: headers never fit right!!

It sounds like they are bumping on the k-member. It may be a result of worn out motor mounts or you may have to grind the k-member a little bit in the spot that the headers are hitting.
