HELP, caliper won't fit over new rotor with new pads...pic

Installing LS1 brakes and the caliper/abutment bracket won't fit over the rotor. The abutment bracket needs to move about 1/4 towards the inside but can't figure out how to adjust it??

here's a pic of what I'm talking about

I've removed the outside bolt that holds the abutment bracket on and there's an inside bolt thats round with 2 flat edges to get a 16mm openend wrench on it, but its extremely difficult to turn, not sure if this adjusts it or not.

Many thx as I have this apart and need to get it back together this w/e in order to fix tranny issue Monday.

hmm, I think I've discovered the problem after removing the bracket completely...one pin fell right out..the other is seized up in the bracket not allowing the bracket to float and slide on the pins causing my problem.....
