How to adjust e- brake

i just bought a 96 ss camaro and my e brake is making noise i was wondering the best way to adjust it? It has a slight clunking noise when driving at low speeds. any help would be great

The e-brake clunks? How can that be? Need more detail on that.

The e-brake is normally self-adjusting.

when i get under the car and shake the e-brake line you can hear the same noise as when im driving and hear the clunking

Shoebox is correct, its designed to take up slack over time so the ebrake stays tight and you dont have to adjust it. Id make sure everything is mounted correctly and all the bolts are tight down there.

Check the mount where the e-brake cable splits, it's above the driveshaft i beleive.

Im not finding anything except when i pull the brake one click and it stops making the noise
