How do you lift rear suspension?

I know everyone lowers these cars, but i've always liked the stance of an older musclecar with the back end up higher than the front. I just installed a new exhaust setup (x pipe) and magnaflows. Because of the UMI torque arm and mount, this setup is CLOSE to the ground, I'm talking maybe 2". I'm scrapping all over the place.

Whats a good way to lift the back end of the car about an 1" and maybe stiffen up the suspension a touch?

Thanks!

I personally think that would look hideous on a 4th-gen, but it's your car. The quickest, easiest and cheapest way I can think of would be air shocks, as long as they are made in the correct replacement size that a 4th-gen uses.

A set of Eibach Drag Launch springs will raise the back end about 1/2". You can also use the AirLift 1000 air bags in the springs, but the ride gets sort of stiff.

Hideous...... you be the judge, at least for the track. 1/2" with the Eibachs and the rest due to 28" slicks.

Ya, may not be for most, but its what I like. I've already done a few cars with the whole; lowering, rims, etc. I feel like its too trendy now and I want something a little different.

I found a set of MT ET streets in a 27"x10.5x16, which should fit my stock rims. Injuneer, thats pretty much what i'm trying to do. Not looking to put airbags on. How much does a set of drag springs typically run?

I like my bags less than 80$. and are adjustable to what ever your hauling like two large sons.

lowest pressure is 5# and they slightly raise the rear, with no noticeable difference in driving

I honestly don't mind that too much, at least those meats are filling up the wheel well. I just shudder to think of 3"-4" of gap over a stock sized rear tire
