How hard to steer with Manual Rack

Anyone had any experience with a manual rack and pinion and how hard it would be to turn with some 245s on the front?

I drove my car w/ a broken power steering pump... is that close enough?

I got more looks from girls... because of my growing arm muscles that I got from turning the wheel

yea but the gear ratios are different.

It will be easier than a looped PS rack but will still be a PITA.
Weekend warrior? Do it.
Daily driver? forget about it.
Just my opinion.

manual racks aren't that bad when moving...the rolling of the wheel helps in ease of steering....what gets you is if your in a tight parking lot, driveway, etc when you need to go lock-to-lock without the wheels moving....then your definately gonna feel the burn in the forearms...i agree with revtime...if its your daily your gonna get sick of it...if your looking for some extra power/weight savings i'd !a/c and go electric wp...didn't notice either of those in your sig
