how much am i suppose to tighten end links?

I removed my rear sway bar and when the time came to reinstall it I wasn't exactly sure how much I should tighten the end links. I tightened them up pretty good but it felt like I could of keep tightening but I didn't want to over tighten anything. Should I have stopped once it got pretty hard to turn the wrench?

Chiltons shows the torque for the top nut on the link bolt as 16 lb-ft.

this is a retarded question, but for years now I don't know the difference between a stabilizer bar and a anti-sway bar. Or is it the same just another name?

With respect to the 3rd and 4th Gen suspensions, they are the same.
