how would you guys set up your cars for a small oval?
k fellas, there is a weekly amateur race night at langley speedway.. wild wackey extreme mc'wednesday or something like that..
link
anyways, there was a dude that was in a 95-96 vert Z28 racing a couple weeks ago that just pissed me off.. didnt push it hard at all, and got ruled twice by a friggin crown vic!! there are not many bowties at the race each week, mostly imports with a handfull of mustangs.. there is one guy in what looks like a late 70's camaro(last weeks time attack winner at the link above..) that looks awesome and comes each week, but thats pretty much it..
anyways, sorry for going off on a tangent, how would you guys set up your car for a small oval like that? i believe it is around .4 miles and has a decent bank..
i was thinking something like 35mm sway bar up front, stocker rear sway..
urethane bushings throughout..
some decent adjustable shocks..
either eibach pro kit, or something a little more fine tuned, i.e. 400-600lb springs up front and some 125-150lb rears..
i really dont know yet, i have read some threads on auto-x, but i know that racing with nothin but left turns is a little different..
i dont want to buy my way into the winners circle, i just wanna get my car a little tighter in the turns..
so, what would you guys do?
