i give up on the search...parts needed for ls1 brake upgrade, please
I've looked through 4 pages of the search. finding close, but not excactly the part numbers/parts i was looking for.
i need spindles, calipers,brackets, rotors, and lines, correct???? also, anyone have a good link to the "SS" brake lines i was finding in the searches? anything else i am missing???

Here's a link to the 98-02 SS brake lines:

This is just one brand, but it's commonly used. Kit comes with 5 lines...use only 4 if you HAVE traction control.
Don't forget LS1 front brake pads and caliper bolts (just in case calipers don't come with bolts).

gotcha. what do you think is a good hawk pad to use on my car? its a daily driver, but only about 5k miles a year and i want the thing to stop as well as possible without going with a full out race pad.

Are you planning on buying all new stuff or are you getting this off of eBay? It can get pretty pricey if you are going with all new stuff.

I just did this and found the LS1 lines are too short. I ended up buying some LS1 Corvette lines. They fit perfectly and allowed me to use the stock body-side brackets. I just had to file the bracket opening a hair so the lines would slide in. The 'Vette lines are just a little longer than the LT1 lines and are the perfect length for this upgrade.
