I'm suspension retarded. Upper control arm bushing suggestions?

Never been much of a suspension guy, obviously, because I found out yesterday that one of my upper control arm bushings is completely missing, bolt and all. It's the one on the back of the drivers' side a-arm I guess. The whole car was outfitted with poly bushings before I got it, but a buddy of mine suggested I buy a neoprine kit for the front of my car. That a good idea? Any other suggestions? Also, what does the kit consist of for the front end and is it something I can do right in my driveway with a jack and some stands? I'm pretty good with motors, decent with carburetors, but when it comes to suspension, I'm almost as green as the money this is going to cost me. Thanks guys! Oh, by the way, we're talking about my '67, so we're working with pretty simplistic stuff here.
