Inconsistant Braking

Around town driving and under some heavy braking. If I step on the brake I can feel it drop down slightly past the throttle. If I let the pedal come up and pump it back down again it stays high and the pedal is more firm. My uncle looked at it and he resurfaced the rotors and bleed the system. (GM M-tech) He said he didn't notice a problem. It's like I said, inconsistant (sp?). I bought some Earl's stainless braided lines for it but I'm not going home till May so I won't get to install them. Brake booster? MS? Is it possible for a brake booster to go bad? Leaking seals? I'm clueless on this one. Anyone else have this prob. w/ a 4th gen? car and mods in sig. 2000Z. It sits in the garge a lot.
Any help would be apreciated.

Re: Inconsistant Braking

Pad knock back ...

If you have worn rear pads, it happens more often.

Check the front hubs as well.

One last thing, clean and re-grease the guide pins ...
