What type of driving do you do with your car? Mostly street? Mostly 1/4 mile? Street/strip? Daily driver??

If your car is more of a weekend cruiser / strip car, then that K-member is probably fine. If you're going to put daily use & abuse on the car, I'd suggest going with the stronger UMI K-member. It's still ~20 - 25 lbs lighter than stock, but it's definitely built stronger than any of the competition's. Check it out first before you make your decision.

FWIW, I have their Road Race version in my car (it's beefed up even more than their standard version) and it's clearly a solid, solid piece of equipment!!

I have a UMI k-member in my car. It will definetly cut a couple pounds off the front of your car. Is saving wieght your only goal?

I have AJE racing K-member in mine, it weights 19 lbs. I think it's one of the nicest pieces out there.

Whoa! I looked on their website ..... that is a DRAG RACE ONLY part, if you ask me!! Heck, their front suspension setup is a STRUT, that completely eliminates the upper A-arm. I'm sure that's great for extreme light weight in the front of the car (aside from the fact that their K-member is shaving nearly ~40 lbs off the front of the car!) ..... but I would NOT trust that to withstand the beating of daily driving, let alone the load of road racing!!

I'm sure it's high quality stuff, but that has drag strip written ALL over it!!

The UMI K-member is certainly A LOT heavier built than that (UMI admits that their K-member "only" saves ~22 - 25 lbs off the weight of the stock K-member).

Yes, I'm running factory A-arms with my UMI K-member. They fit no problem, and the longer adjustment slots allow for some pretty serious camber! (since I use my car on the race track, I've got about ~-2.5° of camber, and ~+4.5° of caster).
