K member install question

Do I need an engine hoist to do a K member install or can I prop the engine up somehow?

I don't want to put wood blocks on the oil pan for fear it will cave in lol.

How did you guys do it and what all is involved?

Re: K member install question

You don't need to raise the motor, just hold it in place. I've done two of them using an engine hoist and a happy hooker engine bracket.
