K Member Installation 95 Z28

My local speedshop told me that the engine needs to be lifted
out of the car in order to install the K-Member. I think he is full
of s t...but I would like to know what is involved in doing so.
before I have someone install it....Thanks.

95LT1Z28/Redw/blackTtop/ Racetronix fuel system/ full race rear suspension/58mm TB/BeCool stuff/ AFR /compcan etc...too much to list.

you dont have to take it out......most shops have an engine support for front wheel drive cars to hold the engine up for stuff like timing chains or clutches....you can use that to hold it up

It can be done several ways without pulling the engine out

It doesn't have to be lifted completely out of the car, but it will have to be lifted up a certain amount.

Held in place from the top is a better description. Once the motor mounts are removed, the K member is disconnected from the engine.
