Koni shocks with stock springs ('00 Z28)
I've decided I'm going to get Koni shocks (4th gen) and keep my stock springs on my '00 Z28. I just did the 1LE front swaybar and it feels much better now, even on stock shocks.
My question is this... Is 4 sweeps from full hard in the front, and 1/2 turn from full soft in the rear the best starting point? I want a ride that's not too harsh on rough roads, but still handles good.
What's everyone else running and how do you like it?
Thanks.

That's probably a perfect starting point, and then you can fine-tune from there .
I actually take my car to the track, and when I did, I cranked the fronts and rears up to pretty much ~75% full stiff. It worked GREAT on the track, but the ride is admittedly a little more harsh on the street . I backed off the fronts to 4 sweeps, and it's much more "pleasant" to drive (although since I have the 3rd-gen rears, I haven't even taken the time to soften them up again, and the car actually rides not too bad this way?! ).
