LCA relocation question

I have a new 10 bolt in my car with LCA relocation brackets the guy that I bought it off of told me that the lower bolt holes are for if you have a lowerd car but he allways ran his car with the lower holes even before he lowerd the car and did not ahve any problems. Do any of you guys do this or did you put them at the first hole???
Thanks

Re: LCA relocation question

I have BMR relo brackets and I run the LCAs on the bottom holes.
It was one of the best things I have done to get the car to hook.

Re: LCA relocation question

you'll want the LCA's to be parallel with the ground, along with the sway bar. if it's not parallel to the ground it's not optimal.

Re: LCA relocation question

Sorry to go a bit off topic but I have the relocation brackets. Car is lowered I use the bottom holes. Now the question is, I have adjustable lca's and I dont know how or why to adjust them. why shorter or longer

They are used to correct the thrust angle (whether the rear end is tracking perfectly straight in relation to the centerline of the car.)

Re: LCA relocation question

so...baslically even unless, you have something seriously jacked up. the stock length is 16". and yes, use the bottom holes

Re: LCA relocation question

To minimize wheel hop for straight line traction, use the bottom hole. To optimize corner carving, set the LCAs to be parallel to the ground.

Re: LCA relocation question

White Knight, is the bottom hole on your setup place your LCA's parallel to the ground? It doesn't on mine (I'm running Eibach Pro Springs).

Whoops......that quote up in my last post i do not agree with, i ment to agree with OBE1 95Z28

sorry for the confusion.

Nope they are definately not parallel to the ground. But i have stock springs. They come off from the body and a pretty good angle downward (i am at stock height). Like you said earlier the only difference is bottom hole for straight, parallel for corners.

How do i delete my post from above?

Re: LCA relocation question

I ran my UMI's on the lowest hole on a stock height car for awhile, a very noticable traction increase.

Play around with it, see what works best

Re: LCA relocation question

I have a little wheel hop and I was wanting to know if I put some lca relocation brackets in if it would hook up alot better. I don't mean to steal the thread, but Do you suggest anything else to eliminate wheel hop, it's a dd, I don't want a harsh ride, and I can't sacrifice much ground clearance. Oh, and I don't want stuff I don't need I have a mostly stock car so I don't need to go all out, money is an issue.
