Leaf spring traction?

The 92 S10 project I am starting has this for a rear suspension.

10 bolt axle
3" de-arched leafs
largeish swaybars
gabriel gas shocks

The rear wheels are approx 15x8.5 inchs
Traction will obviously suck.
I plan on running as wide a drag radial as I can on those wheels.

Im concerned that i may not hook at all, and if I do the wheelhop may be uncontrollable.
What can I do/change to prevent this problem.

Re: Leaf spring traction?

use a slapper bar, or install laddar bars. also playing with pinion angle will help. installing drag shocks will also help. avoid air shocks at all costs.
