line lock question

I have a 94 camaro z28 m6. I no longer have A.B.S. Since I'm running a moser 9". Could I still run a line lock. Not sure if the line lock runs into the abs system or not. But I really would like to have one for heating up the tires

Re: line lock question

The line lock has nothing to do with the ABS unit, and will work with and without ABS.

You simply install the line lock solenoid in the single front brake line leaving the master cylinder, before it splits for the left and right front brakes.

Re: line lock question

Yes it's actually easier without the abs unit.

Simply, yeah simply, plumb the line lock solenoid into the front brake line coming out of the master cylinder and back into the front brakes - you need to add a junction "T"on the "out" side of the solenoid that splits to both front brakes. May also want to consider adding a proportioning valve to the rear brakes for better adjustment.
