List your rotor/pad combo...

stock, stock, stock. lol, but seriously. Until I can afford a nice upgrade(I'll probably just go LS1 or C5 upgrade) the stock 4 wheel disks do just fine. I do have intentions of going with Hawk pads when I need new ones. My buddy put them on the front of his firebird and those rims now have much less dust on them than the rear rims do. Very very nice pads. Last for a long time, have good performance, virtually no dust, and pretty reasonably priced.

Im going to jump up to sloted LS1 rotors and LS1 hawk pads, I will stay stock in the rear for a while.
Its gonna be like near 100 bcuks for the rotors, near 100 for the pads, almost a 100 for the stuff to jump up to the LS1 combo

13.2" x 1.3" Porsche rotors and 4 piston Brembo calipers scavenged from a 2001 Porsche 996 GT3
I run Portfield R42S street pads and Pagid blck on the track.
I have about $1200 in the setup.
The Blacks produce a BOATLOAD of brake dust, but I can outbrake M3s, 911s and C5s ...

Did u get the $45 ones or did u get the $94 rotors?
Ive priced them because I too want to go the economical way and wait to go with the Big Brake upgrade.
This is my dilemma...
My car traps 125 on spray and I am worried that if I go the autozone way if my stopping quality will be very "economical" compared to a $400 brake upgrade?
but then again I only visit the track like 3 times a year but I also have my "stop light" challenges

I do LOTS of autocross and I use stock rotors and Hawk HPS pads. I have no stopping problems.
I've tried Hawk Plus pads, and while they're awesome for stopping power, they suck for dust and noise. I went through two sets of them before I couldn't stand it any longer.
For my use, the LT1 rotors are great. Keep in mind a smaller rotor means less rotational weight too. For me that's important. But I also don't have to make repeated stops from 100+ miles per hour either.
So it really depends on your application and how you use your car.

Converted to front LS1 brakes w/ SS lines and Severn brake ducts, stock rears
Street: Wagner Thermoquiet pads w/ Wagner rotors (stock rears)
Roadcourse: Carbotech Panther XP w/ Wagner rotors (stock rears)
Street pads are basically the same as stock LS1 pads, XP pads will throw you through the windshield if you aren't buckled in.
Of course, they also dust like crazy and squeel really bad if they aren't warmed up (250+ degrees). I actually use the same rotors for both street and track use, and they seem to be holding up fairly well, but I may go ahead and buy a new pair for dedicated street use.

Re: List your rotor/pad combo...
I use the stock LS1 rotors on the front with GM durastop pads and autozone rotors on the back with performance friction pads. The durastop pads will bring ya down in a hurry, but they turn my wheels black in no time. The performance frictions on the back hardly dust at all, but the rotors rust like crazy in the middle.
