Looking at replacing stock shocks... need opinions!

Hey Guys,

Im looking around for what the best replacement shocks are for a 93-97 fbod. I hear the QA1's and similar are the best but they are far from cheap. I dont do much strip time but wanted something a little hotter then stock. Im thinking about the KYB GR-2's which seem to be a good name brand and say they are a bit stiffer over stock. Not looking to spend a a great amount but if the quality is there im more then willing to fork out the extra cash. Again this is mostly a street/weekend driven car looking for a better then stock shock.

Thanks!

What do you want to use the car for? The QA1's are a decent "drag" shock, but they would be a poor choice for anything that wants to go around bumpy corners hard.

This car will be 95% street driven with the odd strip time. Just rather put out a bit more cash for a better then stock shock. Not going crazy but i just want some input on a decent upgrade over stock that isnt going to cost me an arm and a leg.

These are the best budget performance shocks you can get IMO. I run these and the car handles on rails.. Next expensive step up are Koni's.
This price at ws6 is also low for what i've seen around and the guys there take time to answer your questions.
