Loose suspension rattling noise

I tried a search and got a million things not answering anything for me.

My 94 Z has a loose sounding rattle definately coming from up front. Happens over any small bumps, manholes, etc. Can someone point me in the right direction for what to replace first? Thanks!

I would probably check the front sway bar as well, make sure the bushings and endlinks are in good shape.

Can you tell me what to specifically check about the strut mounts? You mean under the hood? on the shock tower? I check the end links too.

Could even be a retention spring for your pads has gotten weak. Go over a bump that you'd normally rattle on with your brake barely engaged and if the noise is gone, then it is brakes.
