low trac

All of a sudden the low-trac comes on almost every time I stop. could it possibly be related to a bad ABS/ASR sensor? I'm used to people looking at my car like it's a piece of crap because you can hear that stupid thing everytime I stop!
Man, next thing I know, I'll be losen my brakes!

Re: low trac

sorry! what I meant was that I'm not used to people looking at my car like that, usually they heat the exhaust, see the car, start to cream in their pants! lol!

Re: low trac

check for a sticking caliper. i had the right rear on my car stick and it would cause the traction control to come on and you could hear the brakes grind. try getting some lube on the caliper piston.

Re: low trac

I had this when the car was fairly new; the dealer cleaner the rear ABS sensor (located in the top of the differential) and it cured the issue.

Re: low trac

what kind of lube should I use for the caliper piston? do I have to tear off the caliper to lube it or can it be done with it still of there?

Re: low trac

First, how can I check to see if a caliper is sticking?
