im not sure but i hear they wear out and are noisey. i may go with the umi ones w/o crome moly, they still have to out preform stock.

The poly is stiffer than stock, so anything above stock is an improvement.
its a compromise, i would go with the poly poly units.

Question

ive decided to go with the umi 2081 crome moly i just needed replacement arms but i only want to buy ones that i would not need to replace . ive looked around and think these are the best deal for the money at this time with the discounts going on. what do you think ? or is there another set i should consider. im not looking for the best just the best for my purpose at a reasonable price. thanks for your help. merry chridtmas.

Stiffer than stock is not the hot setup. It's not the LCA's job to be stiff when twisted. That's why rod ends are better for handling. They allow angle changes between the axle and the LCA. Its the job of the swaybar to control the axle angle, not the LCA. Take a look at the hotpart units if you want handling without the noise potential of rod ends.
