I definately wouldnt go with the 36mm for looks. I think its more for older muscle cars to have tires that stick out 2 inches from the quarter panels. So I can see one spot where its rubbing its like a ledge of metel on the inner fender well.

Thumbs up

I run 17X11 all 4 corners on a 285 tire. 315's were just too much scratch for me. Bump stops didn't need grinding either. I also use the 50mm offset and use a spacer up front. 7/16 to be exact may shoot for a smaller spacer instead or put the smaller one out back. Rolled the fenders because I'm lowered and it did rub on occassion going too fast down the autobahn. Non adj PHR is what I use and my rear never lost it's center but I do have a dual rod end going in this wkend to finish out the suspension since every thing else is solid rod ends front to rear. Can view a pic of it hear but it doesn't show much.

You sir have a very nice car! Im not sure how your running 17x11's up front. My 9.5's come so close to the control arm you can barely slide a rag through. Could you get some more pics maybe from the low back so I can see how the 285's fit? Sharp car!

Sure I'll take some this evening. I don't know if aftermarket Upper and Lower A-arms have anything to do w/ the clearance for upfront. The back I run tubular arms vs the boxed. But I do know for those that run 50mm offsets it' was recommend go this route as the 36 would stick out too far and they are absolutely correct. Makes rotating the tires far easier too w/ good wear since they're all the same size.

Thanks for the compliment.

Man, that is too awesome. 3 of my life long goals have been to do road course (check), do the silver state classic (not yet) and drive on the autobahn (probably never). Passing a porsche on track is an awesome feeling, but doing it in Germany would be better. I know its not a race track but still... Did you get longer studs with your spacers? Where did you get your studs/spacers?
Thanks-

I picked the studs up from Summit. If I'm not mistaken Thunderracing sells the studs too. It's a blast running over here. I'm gonna miss it bad come next spring as we leave. But I did do 5 yrs over here so I can't complain. Hopefully Italy will be next w/ the autostrade and harass a few 550 Maranello's and Modena's next.
