Lowering

I bought a set of lowering springs (Eibach Pro Kit) for my '94 T/A. Can I just throw the springs on, or will supporting mods have to be done? Thanks!

EDIT: Just realized I put this is the wheel/tire section (doh!). Mod's feel free to move it to the suspension forum.

Re: Lowering

no mods will have to be done but the front struts on my car was a pain to get off, while you are putting the springs on it would be a good time to put new shocks and struts on.

Re: Lowering

You will need to get the car aligned but other than that, you will be fine. I'd get new shocks though.

Re: Lowering

Lowering may require recentering of the body side-to-side over the rear axle assembly, using an adjustable panhard rod.

Nit-picky.... but no "struts" on a 4th Gen. They are coil-over shocks with an unequal A-arm style suspension.

I'll move this from Wheels and Tires to Suspension.....
