I'd like to hear what people have to say, too. Seems to me like the maximum you could do would be 1", I can barely get over speed bumps with 2 people in the car as it is already.

Re: Lowering with LT's
you'll be fine as long as u avoid goin to ny or nj lol.....i had the pro kit w/ jet hot's on my 94..it wasn't that bad...just gotta beware of driveways and dips in the road etc etc....good set of shocks defintley helps alot(ie if they're adjustable..keep em on harder settings on the highway)...

Re: Lowering with LT's
Common sense means there are places you won,t be able to go.
I have LTs on my 94 with an Eibach drag launch kit and the front was lowered about an inch.
I know there are certain places I avoid, speed bumps being one of them.
As long as you understand this and pay attention to road conditions you should be fine.
I have no backseat, so I have a one passenger limit. You won,t be able to tote around all your buddys anymore.

Re: Lowering with LT's
with my hotchkis springs and billstein shocks, its a give take thing..... you give into the awesome looks of a lowerd car but you sacrfice being able to go alot of places ive often found myself in a new parking lot backing up and trying to find another route through speed bumps should be outlawed..... if you going with the hooker or the jet hot i suggest the mufflex y pipe so far its proven very strong and durable ( cause sooner or later your gonna scrape something)... . my car is droped 1.25 to 1.5 inches an if you look underneath my car there is literally 1.2 inces of space between the drives side exhaust and the road.... my advice HOLD ON TO YOUR STOCK SPRINGS in case you want to go back cause you sick of the occasionl metal scraping from underneath your car..... good luck

Re: Lowering with LT's
I have pacesetter long tubes and dms springs and my car is lower than a pro-kit.
The only things i normally have problems with is speed bumps and my cutout hitting just about everything. My headers and ypipe rarely hit. OH, dont hit road kill, it will send chills up your spine (it was a dead unavoidable racoon and boy did it smell nasty). Other than that, i havent had problems.

Re: Lowering with LT's
What kind of LTs do you guys have? Cripes...you have issues at stock height? I think you should look into a new set of LTs if that's the case. I've seen TPIS LTs, and there's no fitment issues. They fit probably better than shorties. Anyways, I've seen a few people with the TPIS LTs and the ProKit with no problems at all.

Re: Lowering with LT's
What does it mean for a ORY to have all EGR and AIR and o2 sims? I thought the whole purpose was to not have those? I want to get an ORY with either Pacesetter long tubes or Hooker. I have visual inspection here, but not until May.

Re: Lowering with LT's
The headers have the provisions for the EGR and AIR. Not sure what y-pipe you're talking about that has the O2 sims. I doubt you'll pass a visual if you get LTs without EGR and AIR. You may not be able to pass even with the AIR and EGR on the LTs. Totaly depends on the person doing the inspection.
