lowering my car soon...

how important is it that i get an adjustable panhard bar for centering the rear axle, and an adjustable torque arm for the changed pinion angle?

Re: lowering my car soon...

I would add LCA relocation brackets to the list as well.

Re: lowering my car soon...

My stuff is either BMR (adjustable torque arm, relocation brackets) or Lakewood (Lower control arms, panhard rod) Spohn makes good stuff and I would stick with either BMR or Spohn.
But if you can get a killer deal on somthin then go for it. I got my BMR stuff on a group purchase for 20 percent off.

Re: lowering my car soon...

An adjustable PHR comes into play when you lower a F-body. Lowering can cause the body to shift relative to the rear axle and cause your tire to stick out on one side. It's a small shift (1/4" - 1/2") but if you're running big tires it can cause your tires to hit the fender lips on bumps.

Re: lowering my car soon...

You can. But you will see a big improvement with an aftermarket set and you can pick up some lakewood or what is that new company? UMI? for under a hundred bucks.

Plus you can typically find a really good deal on a gently used set of LCA's on pretty much all of the F Body forums.

I picked up my set of UMI's for $60 shipped on LS1tech.com
