Lowering spings and more?
I am interested in lowering my car with a set of the eibach sport line springs. My SS has 61,000 miles are the shocks still good or would it be wise choice to upgrade them will I'm under there getting dirty ? Also what would be a good shock and strut set up with the eibachs

Re: Lowering spings and more?
Welcome to the board. First off, if I were to recommend you lowering springs, Eibach sportlines wouldn't be the ones. Those particular springs are great for looks, but bad for handling since they are too soft for how much they lower and will cause you to ride your bumpstops too often. If you want to lower that much, look into H&R springs or LG Motorsports G2 springs. If you can get away with approximately 1" lowering, I think the Hotchkis springs are a good choice. In either case, you absolutely need to change your shocks. Look into either revalved Bilsteins or Koni single-adjustables. Good luck.
