lowering springs for 95 vert

Ive got a 95 Z28 vert, I did, a search and couldnt come up with a whole lot.
Im wanting to lower the car (not sure how much but as low as i can resonably go is best) the car will not be a daily driver. I plan to run 17's

Any recomendations would be great

thanks

IMO, go out to your car with a tape measure or yard stick and measure from the ground to the peak of the front and rear fender arches, you'll want to do this on a surface that's as flat and level as possible.
Write the stock height measurements down for reference. Now measure down from the fender arch peak where you would really like the new fender height to be, write that down also.
Now post your measurements here.

You say it's not going to be a daily driver, what are your plans for it? Weekend crusier, autox, drag? I got the Strano springs in my 95 vert now, while they are excellent springs I wish the car was a bit higher. Though I'm running 16" wheels, 17" would bring it up slightly. Prior to those I had BMR springs which were a better height, but not as good a spring. If you have a stock exhaust you're in better shape. If you have an aftermarket y-pipe you may run into bigger clearance problems (That's what gets mashed the most over speed bumps for me, cat is second.)

You should be planning on a shock swap at the same time. The front spring swap is a big enough job that you won't want to do it twice. And the stock shocks are not suited to higher than stock spring rates.
