LS1 brake hoses

Re: LS1 brake hoses
LS1 or if you want to use standard GM rubber hoses, the ones from a C5 work well. Only thing that has to be done to the C5 rubber lines is file off the tabs where it goes into the bracket on the body (takes all of a minute to do).
I'm currently running Earl's C5 stainless steel braided lines on my C5 upgrade and they're too long - I'm actually going to use the rear braided lines from the C5 kit which will work well with either the C5 or LS1 brake upgrades.

Re: LS1 brake hoses
I was wondering the same thing myself, as I'm thinking of doing the LS1 front brake upgrade on my LT1.
I've heard Earl's LS1 front brake hose will work fine (and supposedly you can use the Earl's LS1 rear hose from the same kit with your stock rear brakes!), but I'm not 100% sure if they're ready to be used as is, or if you'd need to remove any tabs, etc.

Re: LS1 brake hoses
Earl's LS1 lines fit fine on LT1s, no modification needed...except...The driver side line was a bit longer that I liked, resulting in a sharper bend in the line than I was comfortable with. I drilled a second mounting hole in the bracket to move it inboard which reduced the bend in the line. You can see it a little in this pic.
