LS1 brake question

LS1 brake question
I just picked up a LS1 brake conversion and I am just cleaning them up and painting them before I put them on. I was just wondering if when putting the spindels on can I use the stock ball joints or should I replace them? What have you LS1 conversion guys done? Also, I don't have the LS1 brake lines so what should I do about brake lines?

Re: LS1 brake question
If your cxar has a lot of miles it would be good to replace the ball joints. check them for play, if they don't have any they will be OK at least for now.
The stock LT1 brake lines will work if you adjust the bracket a little. Your brake hose points straight up right now, you need to bend it about 90deg out (toward the wheel). Becareful when you bend it because the brake line has to bend too, you don't want it to kink.
