LS1 Brake upgrade check list
Qustion1:
Just making sure. Is there anything that I have forgotten.
Parts needed:
1. LS1 kit (everything from the spindle out) -Ebay
2. Stainless/Teflon Brake lines -Thunder Racing
3. Dupli Color Paint, black & red & primer. -Lowes
4. Caliper Decals -Brent
5. Brake fluid -Autozone
6. Brake pads, front & rear -??
1. $220
2. $120
3. $25
4. $10
5. $15
6. $80, $60
Total $530
Qustion2:
Any suggestions on pads? I want relatively low dusting, rotor friendly, but better performance than stock. I guess this is what everyone wants in a pad, but I don't want squealing. I've heard wagner thermoquiet are pretty good, and have heard a little about hawk. Thanks!

Re: LS1 Brake upgrade check list
It looks like you have everything. Make sure you have a Tubing/flare nut wrench to take the metal brake line loose. I believe its 12mm if i remember right. A regular 12mm wrench will probably round the brake lines loose. I would also clear coat the calipers after you get the CAMARO decals on to make sure they don't come off. I did this on my LT1 setup and they lasted 2yrs until i took the calipers off. As for the brake pads i just reused the stockers that came with my setup. They were almost new, and even being stock my car still stops 10x's better than the LT1 setup.
