When you are doing a rebuild the dollard add up quick. Parts and machine costs with me and my dad doing all the labor are going to cost close to 2 grand. So thats why I figured I ask if the springs were an upgrade. When someone drops off free parts without me asking for them I'm going to investigate it its a worthwile swap. Thanks for the help guys.

Aren't aftermarket springs available under the following categories for 4th gens?

LS1 & all V6s
LT1

I thought it was because the LT1 is heavier, and the aluminum LS1 weighs about as much as the iron V6.
