lt1 rear brake upgrade

I understand the rear brakes arent something to look at performance wise untill the fronts are considerably upgraded but as far as looks go what is an easy and inexpensive upgrade? Not sure if an ls1 rear brake setup would be much bigger since I have no idea how big the lt1 rears are and ls1 rears are but if they are atleast 12" that would probably look a lot better on a 17 inch wheel and maybe function better.... Just curious what some have done since I dont see many rear upgrades for our cars...

Any upgrade to rear rear is pretty much worthless on 99% of our cars. If you're going road racing then by all means. Otherwise, you're better off spendnig your money elsewhere.

Yup thats what ive been told and read, rears only do 20-25% of the braking and with some serious front brakes probably a lot less, but im more concerned with apperance on this one. If the ls1 rear setup would be inexpensive and easy to setup on the rear that may look a bit better depending on how much larger they are, BTW how much larger are they? Im putting some wheels on in the near future is why im concerned....
