OK, the car was wandering on the road, and the rack was leaking out the
input shaft. I got a new rack, new tie rod ends, and swapped out the rack.
I was doing the "flush" procedure, but when cranking the engine, nothing is
coming out of the pressure hose. I disabled the ignition so it wouldnt start.
My old Studebaker pump would shoot fluid out the pressure output when
you just turned the pulley. This one doesnt seem to do anything. Is that a
normal thing, does it have to spin faster than start motor speed? The book
says that you should crank the engine until you see clear fluid. Without any
fluid coming out, this doesnt seem possible.
