Need Brake Help Badly
Guys, I recently installed a new brake line to the rear brakes. Ever since that, my rear brakes dont work. There are no kinks in the line and the brakes have been bled numerous times with negative results. i cant figure out where to go next. I am at a loss and i need some assistance asap. 96 ta.

also, if you have air in there, would it make the rear brakes stop working? The pads are not even touching the rotors in the rear. i also forgot to mention that the dash brake light is on. fluid is filled and e brake works fine. could there be not enough pressure going from the abs to the rear brakes to compress the caliper? im at a loss.

The "BRAKE" light comes on when there is a pressure difference between the front braking line from the master cylinder and the rear braking line from the master cylinder. You probably have air all the way from the master to the rear brakes.
There are two bleeder fittings on the ABS unit. They are at the top, toward the front, facing forward. If you have ABS + TCS it may be different.
Was/is the "ABS INOP" light on? If so, you may need to repair the problem that caused the light to come on, then use a Tech 2 tool to 'home' the ABS motors before you can bleed the brakes correctly.
