Question Need to get a new rack and pinion .....dealership phone #'s?

....I have forgotten those guys' names, Jason something and someone else ....there's a dealership in Ohio and another one in Florida where we can get OEM parts at a discounted price. It's been over two years but I did some business with the dude in Florida and was very happy with his service.

I'm getting binding and weird sounds coming from the power-steering when turning to the right, and only when turning to the right. So that tells me the rack & pinion need replaced ...that is correct isn't it? ...this thing has a whopping 48K on it and here I am needing this?!?!? ...must have been bad from the start.

Anyway, I need those names and numbers again please ....I'm sure you all know who I'm talking about. Unless someone knows of a better place to get a new rack and pinion?

Thanks. Yup, Dal is the one who helped me before ...very prompt. Appreciate it.

Seriously though, has anyone here used an Advanced Auto rack or was that just a joke?

I am preparing to do a rack replacement too. Autozone, O'riely's, Advanced Auto, Pep Boys... they all carry them. They have Cardone and Atsco (spell check) brands. I am tryin to decide which of the two is better.

Keep us posted if you think about it. Anyone have any experience with aftermarket racks?

I am using an advanced auto rack and pinon... has been on hte car for 3 years... has warranty also. the cost was signifigantly less than what you'll pay new. I used what I save and put it on other mods. It's just a remanufactured stock rack.

I would stay away form Pepboys, Autozone.... nothing I ever brought from them lasted especially not thier reman stuff.
