need help with brake job.

I'm changing my brake pads right now and for some reason I just can't push the pistons back so it would fit over new pads. Acctualy i can't push them back at all. one side goes in easy the other does not move at all - could it be stuck or something? Is there any trick to it?
Any input welcome. Thanks.

might get a quicker response in the brake section next time. did you take both calipers off at once or one at a time? did you try using a c-clamp to push the piston back in?

Are you using a C-clamp to push them back, is the cap off the brake master cyl under the hood?

Were your pads worn mainly on the end that has the stuck piston? That would confirm the piston is seized in the bore and wasn't retracting, wearing out the pads. If you can't push it in with a vise, its frozen and needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
