Yep, I was going to suggest changing all the stock bushings with poly. That one thing tightened up my convertible, which is prone to wiggle and flex anyway. Panhard bar was next to center my axle for the 315 rear tires. I had a lot of wiggle and twisting out of turns around 40-50 mph. nothing major, but enough that it held me back from going all out with other people doing 70 in the same turn. Poly bushings and panhard bar eliminated the wiggle but I had traction issues... 315's back and 295's front and it swings the corners all out, no problem. Especially the curved on ramps and interchanges on the highway here in San Jose, I usually run 70 all the time if there is no traffic (well, except through some of them that are kind of like U-turns)
My old car I went with spherical rod ends and poly bushings. Damned noisy for a daily driver, even over the engine noise, and I really can't tell much difference between it and what I have now.
