Normal for BRAND NEW brake calipers to RUST in a little over 1 1/2 months????

I recently spent over $1800cdn getting ALL my brakes replaced:

The brakes were done on March 29th, 2008. Approx 2 weeks ago I noticed when I was washing the car that the front calipers are RUSTED.. The calipers themselves are rusty-orange color now.. Now obviously I know the rotors will, but considering these ACDELCO's are not even 2 months old, and my ORIGINAL (Assume ACDELCO) up to 2007 were still the blackish color until I had them painted blue, were fine.. am I wrong to think I need to go back to the shop and complain?? I got an indoor car show coming up in 2 weeks and they look like CRAP!

Here is my ORIGINAL ones (pic taken 2007). (Bought car 1998; 10 years later no rust showing)

Here is a pic the day the car was brought home with the brand new ACDelco front calipers. No rust showing on outside.

I don't have any pictures of front view of the rusted calipers (GF is borrowing camera) so I actually have a picture of the inside view of the front calipers the day after. You can see the rust already forming.

Picture that rust covering the ENTIRE front caliper now!
