Panhard Bar

I just put some LCA's on and noticed a huge difference. I was wondering if you noticed a big difference with a new panhard bar? Also, if you have a relocated panhard bar, did you notice a difference with that? I don't think the relocater would be worth it, so tell me what ya think. Thanks.

I don't think a PHB would do much for straight line traction. It would definitely improve your cornering ability, though. Just think about the physics involved and the geometry of the stock stamped steel piece. The relocation kit does not offer any benefit at all. It is only for people that need extra clearance for custom exhaust setups.

So did you notice better cornering with a panhard bar?

The panhard rod has 0 effect on straight line. The only thing I need it for is to center the rear end. For cornering, it *may* help, but shocks/springs/sway bars will have a bigger impact.

I still have the stock one. But like mongse_1 said, the biggest benefit to cornering is shocks/spring and swaybars.

Do you think you would notice a difference with one?

Yeah, I think so. Give it a try and see, you can pick up a non-adj one for $90. Its worth a shot.

What would be the best for a straight line traction?
I had problems at the track the other day, I wanna be able to launch it and keep it straight.
I also had trouble hooking my tires on the ground. Im trying to keep my stock tires for now since its still chunky, I just need some inputs on suspension/chasis on how to keep my tires glued on the ground and also avoid fishtail.

For straight line, a set of LCAs w/ relocation brackets would be a good start. You're not going to hook very well with stock radials anyway, but there is room for improvement.

I got a set of chrome moly tubulars from thunder for $140. They were about half the weight of the stockers. You can get carbon steel for $130, but what's $10. Some SFC's would probably help out as well. LCA's are a must though. It helped me out more than I ever thought it would.
